Vapo’s Local Heat is a tailored solution aimed at meeting customers’ individual heat energy requirements. Under a Local Heat agreement Vapo assumes responsibility for supplying heat to the extent agreed.
Customers can choose between a number of options ranging from delivery of fuel right through to full-service heat generation, in which Vapo is responsible for supplying and distributing heat energy with contractor’s liability. |

Local Heat is intended for district heating companies, municipalities, public utilities, industry and large buildings which want to boost the efficiency of their heating plant and make the total cost of energy easier to predict. Vapo’s Local Heat customers are provided with guarantees on the continuity and development of the service as well as a steady return on the capital they invest.
Vapo’s strength is the generation of heat, and in appropriate locations also of electricity, using domestic biofuels. Vapo has solid experience of building and running heat and power plants.
