Vapo is the world’s leading producer of peat machines. We manufacture machines for our own use and sell them to customers outside the Group. Vapo develops and designs production machinery together with partners, including engineering offices, experienced contractors and VTT, the Technical Research Centre of Finland. Vapo uses a large network of subcontractors to manufacture its machinery.

Vapo produces all the machines required for milled peat and sod peat production, machines for preparing and maintaining fields and for fire protection and quality control during production. More detailed information on the machines available can be found in the pdf brochures below.

Vapo peat production machines are sold in Finland, other European countries, Russia and Asia.

As well as peat production machinery Vapo also manufactures other special machines. One of these is a subsoil drainage device that improves the drying of production fields. Vapo also manufactures equipment for environmental protection, such as pumping stations.
