Bark cover from Vapo

Vapo bark cover can be used to cover the roots and beds of trees and shrubs. It provides excellent cover for decorative and food plants and can be used as a compost bulking agent. Bark cover is spread on the soil surface in 5-10 cm layers.

Vapo supplies three different varieties of bark cover

• Finely shredded bark
• Shredded bark
• Unshredded bark

Bark cover stops weeds growing. For maximum effect, weed the area before spreading a 10 cm layer of bark.

Bark cover evens out the humidity of the soil, improves the activity of roots and useful organisms and prevents soil spreading and spattering during rain, keeping plants and crops clean.

With compost, the bark is mixed with the other composting material to improve aeration and the microbial activity.
