Vapo’s Garden and Environment Business Area is divided into four business lines: Professional Growing, Home and Park, Environmental Peat, and Environmental Management.

The Professional Growing Business Line offers substrates and plant fertilisers to professional growers. Vapo is one of the leading substrate producers in Europe. The products are marketed worldwide under the Kekkilä Brand, and they are sold to more than 40 countries.

The Home and Park Business Line comprises packed and unpacked home gardening products as well as landscaping and compost products. In this line of business, Vapo is the market leader in the Nordic Countries. In Finland and the Baltic States, the products are marketed under the Kekkilä Brand; in Sweden, Norway and Denmark under the Hasselfors Garden Brand.

The Environmental Peat Business Area is divided into horticultural and environmental peat materials, and bedding and composting products. Vapo is the leading supplier of horticultural peat raw materials in Europe and the market leader in the bedding peat market of the Baltic Sea Area. In Finland the products are sold under the Vapo Brand and in Sweden under the Neova Brand.

The Environmental Management Business Line comprises biological waste treatment and regional waste handling. In the Jyväskylä Region, regional waste handling is managed by Mustankorkea Oy, which is owned by Vapo and four municipalities.
