Leading supplier of local biofuels

Vapo is the leading producer and supplier of local biofuels. The local fuels supplied by Vapo are fuel peat, different kinds of wood fuels, and energy crops.

In Sweden, local fuels are supplied by Neova AB. Neova AB is owned by Vapo. In Estonia, Vapo owns a biofuel and energy company AS Tootsi Turvas.

In 2009, Vapo supplied a total of 21 TWh of biofuels.
